Kelly has been my favorite out of the American Idol winners, even though the most I watched of her on American Idol was her beautiful performance of "I Surrender". I was amazed and thought she should win, and even though I didn't watch any of American Idol after that, I was very pleased when I found out she had won. Her first cd, Thankful, showcased her wonderful voice and proved to the world she was very deserving of being the first American Idol. Her second CD, Breakaway, shows her growth as an artist and proves shes not sticking any label that society might put on her. Simply put: Kelly is awesome. :)
